CPL Forrest W. Pafenberg

Forrest was the son of Guy and Cora Pafenberg of Owen, Jackson, Indiana.  Forest had first enlisted with the army on January 17th of 1941 with the National Guardsman.  At the time he was single with no dependents and worked as a general farm hand.  His Service Number was 15102933. Forrest had 4 years of high school.  On June 8th of 1942 he enlisted with the Air Corps. 

Forrest's siblings included Dale Pafenberg, Roy E Pafenberg and Florence M Pafenberg. Roy had also enlisted with the army in 1942. He had served in WW2 in Korea. Roy died on September 16th of 1996 and is buried in the Arlington National Cemetery.
